President of ICHPER-SD visits GSF

DOHA - Dr. Dong Ja Yang, Ph.D, President of the International Council for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, Sport and Dance (ICHPER-SD) visited the offices of the GSF today and was briefed on the operations being carried out. QOC representatives included Messrs. Khaleel Al-Jabir, Director Sports Affairs Department and Abdulrahman Al-Dosari, Director Public Relations and Marketing Department, and Hamad Yousef Al-Obaidly, Head Website Unit.
Dr. Dong, who was accompanied by Dr. Adel M. Elnashar, Ph.D, Secretary General, took time out from the 52nd ICHPER-SD Anniversary World Congress that is being held in Doha from 8-12 May to show his support for the work being carried out by UNODC and the QOC to help youth around the world develop their potential through the avenue of organized sport. He praised the work being done and expressed the desire to work with the GSF to help provide children with developmentally appropriate motor skill instructions, based on methods grounded in research and science.
The Project Coordinator briefed the distinguished visitors on the work being carried out and invited Dr. Dong to sign the GSF flag.
